I highly recommend you track down a copy of TIMES SQUARE, an early film he directed with Trini Alvarado (LITTLE WOMEN) and Tim Curry (ROCKY HORROR), and even a later film he made called EMPIRE RECORDS with Robin Tunney, Renee Zellweger, and Liv Tyler, which is not as good, but had I been 17 when I saw it, would have thought was excellent.
