I don't like to get too political either (kind of middle of the road here) but I feel genuine sympathy for him lately. Roadblocks and obstructionism...I don't agree with everything he's for, but hell, the guy's at least trying to make a difference, you know?
If being a political science major has tought me anything it's that being President blows. Not one President (with the exception of Washington) has left office in good terms. They may be vindicated after time has passed, but they are never viewed in a good light when leaving.
It is hard to dislike Obama, even when he does things that infuriate me. What a lovely man.
