Which fuck buddy movie will you waste your money on?

No Strings Attached

Pros: Natalie Portman, Greta Gerwig, chick from The Office, gay guy from Chelsea Lately, that hamster joke at the end.

Cons: Ashton Kutcher, reeking of studio romantic comedy, plethora of stupid jokes, presence of wacky best friends, PG-13.

Friends With Benefits

Pros: Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake (who I prefer doing movies to music), Will Gluck (director of Easy A), Patricia Clarkson, Emma Stone (not in trailer, but Wikipedia wouldn't lie), Woody Harrelson, R-rating, R-rating jokes, therefore funny jokes.

Cons: 'Dude' best friend, Third Eye Blind, modern romantic comedy.

Yes, well. I'm going with the latter.

I'd see Friends with Benefits but not the first & hopefully I'll catch a matinee because I have a feeling anyone who has ever seen a romantic comedy can tell the ending of this. =P

Hey Ripley,

The response back from Club members has been amazing!

On the week of November 29th to December 5th, 2010, I will be hosting an good old fashioned Blog-A-Thon to re-inaugurate the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die Blog Club.

After months of waiting for it to start again, I decided to just host the Club myself, and I'd love to have you as a member once again. I am writing you today to invite you to contribute a post (or posters!), on the first film on the epic 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die List, George Méliès' "A Trip To The Moon" (1902) aka "Le voyage dans la lune." Since you're an old club member, it would be great to see your contribution!

One of the many great things about "A Trip To The Moon" is that this short film is available everywhere for viewing. I've put a couple links for you of the complete film at the bottom of the page.

If you're interested, drop me a link or a line through my site (www.filmsquish.com), and feel free to spread the word!

Anything with the voice of Meg, I'm in. Just the voice makes me laugh. I think it'll be above average.

As for Ashton Kutcher's movie... Man, he should've just stayed a model. I'm still angry about "Killers."

Castor: So pessimistic.

Franz: I love that Mila Kunis does things outside of voice acting. I mean, she has the weirdest career. And we do not speak that name unless it begins with 'The' and stars Ava Gardner.

Angel: What is?

I'm disappointed that Greta Gerwig would lower herself to be in No Strings Attached. I guess when you're making mumblecore money, that's not much money.

I hate Ashton Kutcher with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns.

And love Justin and Mila.

So, yeah. You know my answer.

No Strings Attached looks less miserable than Friends With Benefits.

This will be the only time I side with an Ashton Kutcher film.
