Monday, April 5, 2010 6:42 PM By Simon

Because I can:

"The Man Who Sold The World" by Nirvana (cover)
"Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)" by The Doors
"Samurai" by The Pretenders
"Loser" by Beck
"All These Things That I've Done" by the Killers
"Arbeit Macht Frei" by the Libertines
"Venus in Furs" by The Velvet Underground

Any others you care to share?

I love The Killers choice. I've thought since the video came out that they should really make a full-length movie out of that thing. Great fun!

This post made me think that it´s been quite a while since we had a decent space western. It´s a genre that we definitely need more installments in. I always thought that Mike Resnick´s book "Santiago" would make a terrific movie but unfortunately no one in Hollywood seem to share my idea.
No suggestions for the soundtrack yet but I´ll definitely give it some thought and return in the near future.

Santaigo, like most books, has been in development hell since it's publication. So, maybe they're waiting for an awesome lead actor.
