Yikes. I just don't know how to respond to things like these. Have you seen the original? What do you think of this trailer?
The original, I think, is sleazy seventies revenge. This looks so grungy/serious/lame.
I don't usually complain about remakes and how pointless they are (and make no mistake, they usually are-- even good ones), because doing so feels like an exercise in futility, but I will never understand the thought process behind remaking this movie. It won't have the same teeth as the original at all, and that's what makes that movie special...so what are we as viewers getting out of this?
I agree agcrump...this film is just a cash-in on the torture porn horror film craze. I Spit On Your Grave is a terrible film, this one won't be any better.
