Thoughts on Funny Games (original and US)

Is it wrong that I don't like feeling accomplice to the torture and murder of fictional people?

Also, I admire Michael Hanake, in remaking his own film. Not only did he get to it before some hack director-for-hire did, thereby preserving a bit of integrity before the studio could sell him out, but he also got to make (I think) a comment on Americanised remakes in general--the glossier bastardizations, with big headliners.

Which one do you prefer?

I gotta say - I was only okay with the American version (I haven't seen the original). I'd probably prefer the original mostly because that Brady Corbet guy was just so awkward to watch. Naomi Watts was the only good thing about it.

I thought Tim Roth was the best, Naomie Watts was kind of meh to me.

I didn't see the original but now after seeing the remake, I'am more interested of what is to come with the original, since I was in love with the remake.

Howdy! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I'm getting fed up of Wordpress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
